Shipping Your Handbag to Our Studio

It is the client’s responsibility to safely ship their handbag to our studio for artwork services. New Vintage Handbags does not assume responsibility for items lost, damaged, or delayed during transit to us. Your package must be shipped with signature required, and it must be signed for by a member of our team upon arrival.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and adding any insurance you feel is necessary for your peace of mind.

Once your artwork is complete, we will return your handbag via FedEx with signature required. If you would like to add insurance to your return shipment, please notify our team when we contact you to let you know your item is ready to be shipped back.

If the item has not yet shipped, we are happy to offer you a full refund.

Once artwork has begun on a client-owned handbag, the project cannot be canceled, altered, or refunded under any circumstances. All sales are final once the project is in progress.

If a client chooses to cancel their customization service before artwork has begun and the handbag has already been received by our team, all shipping fees — as well as a $100 mock-up fee — will be deducted from the total refund.

CUSTOMIZATION SERVICES TERMS:

By submitting payment for customization services on a personally owned item, the Client certifies that they are the rightful owner of the item and have full authority to authorize its modification.  The Company is not responsible for the item’s condition upon arrival. The Client acknowledges that all customization involves manual techniques including, but not limited to, cutting, sewing, and painting. These alterations may impact the item’s value. Submission of the item constitutes the Client’s acceptance of these risks.  In the event of loss or theft while the item is in the Company’s care, the Company’s maximum liability shall not exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00).  In the event that an item is damaged while in the care of New Vintage Handbags ("Company"), the Company will make reasonable efforts to perform repairs as deemed appropriate at its sole discretion. If the item is determined to be beyond repair, the Company’s sole liability shall be limited to a refund of the customization fee paid by the Client. The Company is not obligated to replace the item, reimburse its value, or provide any additional compensation. By submitting an item for customization, the Client acknowledges and accepts all inherent risks associated with the customization process. The Client acknowledges that natural materials such as untreated vachetta leather are highly sensitive to oils, moisture, and humidity, which may result in marks, discoloration, or other changes during or after customization. These changes are not considered damage.

Shipping insurance is not included unless explicitly requested by the Client. The cost of such insurance is the Client’s responsibility. The Company is not liable for any packages until confirmed delivered to our facility by the shipping carrier, or after the item departs our facility.  While New Vintage Handbags may provide or purchase shipping labels as a convenience, we are not responsible for any loss, damage, or delays that occur once a package is in the possession of the shipping carrier. All shipping is handled by third-party providers (such as FedEx), and any claims for lost or missing items must be resolved directly with the carrier.

The Client acknowledges that any emotional or sentimental value associated with the item is not legally compensable.

Clients grant New Vintage Artists creative discretion in executing designs. As all artwork is performed by hand, minor variations from digital mock-ups may occur. Once the artwork has commenced, the order cannot be canceled. Any changes after this point will incur additional customization fees. All mock-up fees are non-refundable.

New Vintage Handbags is not responsible for the condition of the artwork once it leaves our facility, as we cannot control how the item is handled or cared for after delivery. The Client assumes full responsibility for ongoing care and maintenance. Touch-up services are available upon request for an additional fee.

New Vintage retains the right to use images of the project before, during, and after completion for promotional use on social media, website, or marketing. All design and artwork rights remain the property of New Vintage Handbags and may be reproduced.

Handbags that remain unclaimed 365 days after their receipt date shall be deemed abandoned and become the property of New Vintage Handbags. Upon expiration of this period, ownership will transfer to the Company, which reserves the right to use, sell, or dispose of the item at its discretion. Clients are responsible for timely communication and item retrieval.

Formal quotes for additional artwork are valid for 14 days from the date issued.

By remitting payment, the Client agrees to all terms and conditions, including the acknowledgment of material risks and the nature of hand-customized work.
