Straps, charms, luggage tags, chains and padlocks:

May be returned within 7 days of delivery for a full refund of the product purchase. Monogrammed straps are hand painted and can not be returned or exchanged once your order is placed. 


You have up to 7 days from when your order was delivered to exchange handbags purchased online for a New Vintage store credit. We do not accept any piece for return or exchange that has been personalized, customized or modified with commissioned artwork under any circumstances.



To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that it was received. It must be in the original packaging with all tags attached.

Once your refund/exchange has been approved for inspection, you will be sent an email with shipping instructions. Items must be returned to us by days end on the 7th day post receipt of delivery. 

Do to the special nature of our business, there is a restocking fee of 10% of your handbag purchase price that will be deducted from your store credit for any handbag that is to be exchanged. Shipping fees will not be applied to store credit or refunded.

Once the item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that it has been received and confirm if your exchange/return is approved. If your item is approved, we will refund your original method of payment, or for handbags purchased directly online issue your store credit code. Please allow 7-14 business days for your refund/store credit to appear. If your item is not approved for an exchange/return, we will immediately send it back to you at the address we have on file.

  • WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY PIECE THAT HAS BEEN PERSONALIZED, CUSTOMIZED OR CUSTOM  ORDERS under any circumstances for a refund or exchange.
  • To complete your return/exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase of your online New Vintage order number.
  • We do not accept returns from retailers. 
  • Sale items, Gift cards, Custom Orders, Event items or Customization Fees may not be returned/exchanged/refunded. If for any reason there is any issue with the final product, just let us know and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
  • New Vintage monitors account activity and reserves the right to refuse transactions, assess fees, and/or close accounts based on order or returns behavior.
  • One exchange per purchase order.

SPLITIT:  Third Party Payment Plan: Splitit is a third party payment plan offered to our New Vintage Customers.  Splitit will process your first payment when you make your purchase and our sourcing and painting service will begin.  Payments will not begin when your item ships, but rather when our service begins at your time of purchase. If you are shipping an item over $100 you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item unless signed for by a member of our staff.

Customer Responsibility: Please be gentle with your pre-owned, vintage handbag and its newly painted canvas.  We ask you to condition the leather with leather conditioner on a regular basis to avoid cracking and breaking. Do not use harsh chemicals on your handbags painted surface or overload it with too much weight. It is our customers responsibility to handle their newly painted canvas with care and maintain its vintage integrity.
